Questions we
get asked a lot

Everything you need to know about working with Amilogix. Can't find your answer? Drop us a message.

Working with us

We start with a free discovery call to understand your goals, timeline, and budget. From there we put together a detailed proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing. Once agreed, we kick off with a sprint planning session and you'll have a dedicated project manager from day one.

It depends on scope. A marketing website takes 4–6 weeks. A full SaaS product typically takes 3–6 months for an MVP. We work in two-week sprints so you see progress continuously and can adjust priorities along the way.

Both. We work with early-stage startups building their first product, scale-ups expanding their engineering capacity, and enterprises modernising legacy systems. Our process adapts to your stage and needs.

Absolutely. Team augmentation is one of our most popular engagements. We embed our engineers directly into your team, working in your tools, attending your standups, and shipping alongside your developers.

Pricing & contracts

We offer three models: fixed-price for well-defined projects, time & materials for evolving scopes, and monthly retainers for ongoing development or support. We'll recommend the best fit after understanding your project.

Our minimum project engagement is $15,000. For retainers, we start at $8,000/month. We don't take on small one-off tasks — we're looking for meaningful partnerships where we can deliver real impact.

Yes. We require a 30% deposit to begin work, with the remainder billed in milestones tied to project deliverables. For retainers, billing is monthly in advance.

Scope changes happen — that's normal. We handle them transparently with a change request process. Any additions are scoped, priced, and approved before work begins. We never surprise you with unexpected costs.

Technology

On the frontend: Next.js, React, React Native, Vue. Backend: Node.js, Python, Go. Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure. Data & AI: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain. Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions.

Yes. We adapt to your stack rather than forcing a rewrite. If we see opportunities to improve your architecture, we'll flag them — but we'll never push unnecessary changes.

Yes. You own 100% of the code and intellectual property we produce for you. We sign an IP assignment agreement as part of every engagement.

Security is built in from the start — not bolted on. We follow OWASP guidelines, conduct code reviews with security in mind, and can help you achieve SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR compliance as needed.

Support & maintenance

Yes. We offer monthly maintenance retainers that include bug fixes, dependency updates, performance monitoring, and a set number of development hours for new features.

For clients on a support retainer, we guarantee a 4-hour response time for critical issues and 24-hour resolution for P1 bugs. For standard issues, we target 48-hour resolution.

Absolutely. We document everything thoroughly and offer a handover period where we work alongside your team to transfer knowledge. We want you to be self-sufficient.
